Get to Know Us
At Nuthouse Studios, we turn your musical vision into a sonic reality. We specialise in recording, mixing, and capturing the magic of your performance—using the perfect blend of analog warmth and digital precision. Whether you need high-quality recordings, music videos, or behind-the-scenes shots, we’ve got you covered at affordable rates, without compromising on sound. We’re passionate about preserving your artistic integrity and providing a space where your creativity can thrive. Rock up, plug in, and let’s make some noise!
Palmer, our lead engineer and owner, has been in the music scene for over 15 years. He fell in love with music after learning guitar at the age of 9. After high school, he studied a Bachelor of Music Composition at Box Hill Institute. Having played in a variety of bands over the years, from blues, rock, soul and funk to metal, whether that's writing songs, filling in or producing recordings, he has a deep understanding of the creative process that happens at each step.
What to Expect
Before we dive into recording, we sit down for a pre-production consultation to discuss your creative direction, priorities, and any concerns you may have. Once you’re ready, we’ll get the gear rolling and start recording. After the session, we move to the mixing stage and deliver a final product.
We understand that recording can be difficult with outside responsibilities and finding the time, so we provide full flexibility on start times. Want an early start? We can do that. Want to burn the midnight oil? That's fine too! Ideally, we will book things out by the week. This gives us the flexibility to work to your schedule and keep equipment set up, giving you the space and time you need to feel comfortable and, most importantly, creative.
